Llobarros es el proyecto del guitarrista y pianista Pep Ahuir. Ahuir es un reputado músico con un gran bagaje a sus espaldas, ya bien sea tocando todos los palos del rock o investigando raíces culturales mediterráneas como la Rebétika griega o la música zíngara de Europa del Este, y judía, con referencia especial al Klezmer. Con “las Lubinas”, tradúzcase así al castellano el término Llobarros, crea un nuevo proyecto en el que se integra toda esta sabiduría uniéndola a todo tipo de instrumentales surf, orquestas de exótica clásica, como la de Les Baxter o Martin Denny, rhythm& blues, rock’n’roll y hasta garage punk.

Llobarros no sólo ofrecen una galería de sonidos instrumentales de los 60s, como toda esta oleada de bandas al uso que vemos en la actualidad. Ellos ofrecen algo más: les aportan un toque patrio a sus creaciones, como buenos mediterráneos que son, llegando incluso a recrear marchas moras valencianas, y fusionando todo ello con una temática de tonalidad maligna y misteriosa que los sitúan en el punto más sublime de la Crime Scene Instro.

"Exotica & Fuzz" es su primer trabajo discográfico, cuatro fantásticas canciones instrumentales que consiguen aunar con gran talento la energía del garage punk con la voluptuosidad de la música exótica dando como resultado un sonido salvaje, maligno, evocador e hipnótico que te atrapa desde la primera escucha.
